PRIVATE PRE-K CLASSROOMS

At Cleveland Academy, our aim is for each of our students to grow intellectually, morally, and spiritually.   
Our highly-qualified staff and curriculum prepare our pre-k students for a smooth and easy transition to Kindergarten.  Our pre-k classes use a combination of the ABeka curriculum (Christian Based) and Frog Street Curriculum. Material taught in one subject is reinforced in other subjects and at every step of the way, students learn, apply, and master new concepts and skills.


What you can expect to see in our Pre-K Classrooms:

*Two teachers in the classroom at all times.

*Strong lesson plans to go with our curriculum that focus on language development, literature, social and emotional development, music, science, social studies, readiness skills, beginning reader skills, math concepts, phonological awareness, writing, art and the Bible.

*Two outdoor play times daily

*Assessments that are performed three times a year so that you can see the progress of your child's learning.  

*A classroom where both the teachers and children are having fun while learning!
